Woke up to a Queensland-ish morning – sunny, warm and humid. After the forecast severe storms failed to show during the night it was a great opportunity to get out for a ride, before the next front passes over in the coming days. (more…)
Woohoo! first sunny day we’ve had for some time. The trails around Castlemaine drain off and dry out fairly quickly, not much top soil left from all the gold mining, mainly rocks. Even so I thought it would be best to stay out of the gully areas which are still draining the water away and stick to higher ground, riding the trails on a hill on the outskirts of town known as The Monk. A few small puddles but overall the trails were dry and in good shape. (more…)
Out spending some quality time with the Mojo HD, furtherest point of the ride from home when dang, the cranks are no longer spinning freely, making a grinding sound once each revolution, seem to be binding on something. (more…)
