There are several natural enemies of the unicyclist. Loose shoe laces are one of them. You’re buzzing along on the uni, on road, off road, unbeknownst to you your shoelace has come loose and is winding itself around the pedal spindle and anything else it can find. Before you know it you’re posting pictures to the unicycle forum, x-rays of the new plates and screws in your body. No joke! (more…)

On a trip to Melbourne a few weeks ago I came across a pair of Speedplay Drillium pedals and they’ve have been on my mind ever since – the larger platform would be really useful on the 36 GUNI which has become my main off road uni, and along with light weight dang these pedals look awesome. (more…)
My second set of Ay Up lights arrived the other day. It was finally time to test them! I’d ordered a narrow light to replace the intermediate light on my helmet, with the intermediate light now being fitted to my XC bars, resulting in a typical MTB night Ay Up setup. (more…)
