The last couple of rides has got me feeling the love for off roading on the 36’er big time – the momentum the big wheel carries through the trail is a hoot, especially when combined with cranks a little too short to be relaxing – but the 24 GUni isn’t so keen on being replaced as the favorite ride. The sun turned it on today so with a couple of hours to spare I grabbed the KH24 GUni and headed into the nearby state forest. You’d reckon that after huge rain last weekend the trails would be muddy to the max, but the terrain is so harsh in this part of Central Victoria the water drains away and the bush dries out in no time.
