No shortage of fun riding this Autumn, and fresh trails to ride too! Central Victoria finally received some good soaking rain in the last week so the dry and dusty trails are back to being in prime condition, and the powdery goop on the newer trails has started to settle. (more…)
Lots of stuff going on over the last month. There’s a fun new section of trail not far off being ready. No shortage of rocks to work in, around and through… should make for a good 10-12km loop and a fine option for Winter night rides. (more…)

I’ve been working on Didj’s Run for quite a while now. It’s a short but fun connector trail that branches off the bottom of the Gully Run and takes you back to the top of the hill. It includes a couple of flow-ey rollercoaster-ery sections I’m really happy with and the whole thing is works pretty well in reverse too. (more…)

Getting out to the mountain bike trails at Redesdale has been sitting on the list of things I’ve gotta get around to doing for a while now, a bit lame since Redesdale is only 30k or so from Castlemaine. I’ve been attempting to manage my riding better this year – riding three times a week max hoping to stay away from my good buddy, the valley of fatigue. So with perfect riding weather to boot I finally got out to Redesdale over the weekend and had a blast. (more…)
