While the Ibis Mojo HDR features the molding technology found in the SL-R (strength of the HD but lighter!) and ISCG compatibility, its neatest trick is its ability to convert from the renowned 160mm 26″ beast that the HD is to a 130mm travel 650b bike with low bottom bracket and a ~67.1 head angle. Ibis have built a new rear triangle with clearance suited for 650b wheels with 27.5″ tires up 2.35″ in size. (more…)

Ibis Mojo riders rejoice! Ibis have added ISCG 05 compatible mounts to the Mojo HDR (you can check out the HDR’s ISCG 05 implementation in detail here). I had been running a modified Ibis-specific MRP guide but now with the freedom to run any ISCG guide have swapped over to the E Thirteen XCX+ I05 Guide. (more…)
Ibis Mojo HDR ISCG Bottom Bracket Mount
One of the cool new features on the Ibis Mojo HDR is ISCG 05 compatibility. Mojo riders can now graze freely on the wide range of standard guides! The ISCG implementation on the HDR is pretty schmick too – check out the pics below. The ISCG Mounting Plate interfaces with the bottom bracket, holding the plate in place while allowing for it to be positioned as needed. Don’t want or need ISCG support? From the original Mojo to the Mojo SL to the Mojo HD and most recently the Mojo SL-R, for both Ibis and mountain bike riders the Mojo has been the gift that keeps on giving. The Mojo’s combination of form and function is the stuff that bike companies dream of. Beautiful to look at and with trend shaping specifications and performance, impressively several years after its release the Mojo HD remains one of the most desired and revered carbon fiber All Mountain bikes – the genre defined in fact by the original Mojo.
