KH24 GUni with XC Bar
The KH 24″ GUni was missing one thing – my home grown XC handle bar. I fitted a spare handle bar I’d been holding onto today and headed down to the local recreation reserve for a test ride. The reserve is handy as it has a good mix of terrain and is close to home.
Milled Moment Cranks
KH Moment cranks are bombproof for sure, but that probably also means they are overbuilt (and overweight) for many riders and/or riding situations. Especially with longer Moments you begin to feel the weight of each crank as they spin around.

Got a call from Kaos Custom Bikes this morning to say the 24″ GUni wheel was ready… AWESOME!

Wombat Forest Loop
After a few days of riding smaller wheels it was a hoot to get back on the 36’er GUNI and head out into the forest for an afternoon ride of ~20km including a variety of trails and ~1200 metres of climbing – enough to keep you busy.
