Some beautiful things arrived just in time for the new year
The trails might be dry and dusty but at least there’s no shortage of daylight during Summer, making evening rides a thing to be savored. I like to mark each solstice with a ride so headed out on my Mojo HDR to enjoy the most daylight hours in 2014. (more…)

Ibis Cycles release the Mojo HD Generation 3 (Mojo HD3)
The new Mojo HD3 is the third act in the Mojo HD/Mojo HDR trailbike trilogy. Everything is new from the ground-up, notably featuring the latest and greatest refinement of the famed dw-link suspension. Geometry is fully modern: longer, lower and slacker, with 6” of plush rear wheel travel. We’ve built in versatile internal routing and updated the frame design, allowing us to put a water bottle on top of the downtube. We also achieve a drop in weight and pedaling performance on par with the Ripley, so the bike is very fast going up, and scary fast going down. (more…)

It feels great to be back on the hand tools after few months off, even if it’s just a few hours here and there making minor changes to trails. One thing is for sure though – riding fresh trails for the first time after a building session is always good fun! (more…)
