Take one rock star MTB rider and one ageing hippie, mix in two Mojo HD3’s,  a bunch of aussie mountain trails and a dash of stormy weather. What have ya got? An awesome weekend of riding at Mt Buller with uber MTB style master Jeff Kendall-Weed!

Just incredible to observe a rider like Jeff, so naturally able to reinvent trails at will – like he’s riding in the Matrix. I’ll never look at Buller’s trail network the same way ever again that’s for sure!

For me personally it was also especially sweet to revisit the Australian Alpine Epic Descent which has aged beautifully since opening last Summer, evolving into a ribbon of sweet flow through giant forest. Super proud to have been on the trail crew!

Pro action photographer Andy Rails hooked up with Jeff on Saturday arvo for a photo shoot out on Corn Hill. Look out for the images in print and online media the coming months – you’ll see what I mean!

For now here’s a couple of Gopro quicksnaps I took along the way. Catch ya next time buddy!

The Kendall-Weed is rarely seen on two wheels. It's either nose wheelie, manual or air.

Super wild stormy run down the Epic on Sunday. Stoked? Shit yeah!
