How can you ever have time if you don't take time?

Roll on 2013

Walking past a display of digital clocks in the city the other day I felt like I was in The Matrix: ‘Who has time? Who has time? But then if we never *take* time, how can we have time?’ (Merovingian, Matrix Reloaded). OK It’s not a great quote, the one about cursing in French being like wiping your arse with silk is much funnier but I digress. The short version is seeing all people rushing around like ants in the city with all these clocks ticking time away reminded me to get my own arse into gear. (more…)

Spring Warmth

Gotta admit… it feels better than ever to feel the warmth of the Spring sun! A run of sunny days is just what the doctor ordered to help send a lingering respiratory infection on its way. Pretty cool when you think about – a huge property chock full of great MTB terrain owned by folk into biking and located just on the edge of town! (more…)

Weaving Camels Trail Melrose

Ever wonder where trail fairies come from? There’s a good chance they’re spawned along Weaving Camels, a magical little MTB trail at Melrose, South Australia. With its lush green carpet, giant gums and babbling brook it’s straight out of a story book. The trail weaves its way through stands of River Red Gums (Camaldulensis) hence its name I guess! (more…)
