Tropical MUni

A super humid day in these parts, it felt like I was back in the tropics! I headed out into the forest on the 24 GUni for a post Xmas sweat fest.

I haven’t had a chance to post much over the Christmas break but there’s still been time to ride the uni each day, even if only to exercise and train Didj, our new super dog 🙂

Mini-style MUni!

Had a bunch of fun this afternoon at the weekly uni get together, riding the hills near the skate park. Frankie started the afternoon saying his uni wasn’t good on dirt downhills, an hour later he was making it to the bottom of the descent on both the 16″ and 12″, no problem. Great stuff!

6 Hour Cyclic Navigator 2009

The 6 hour Cyclic Navigator again proved to be an epic uni challenge. Storms in the 24 hours leading up the event combined with freezing wind and rain on the day turned trails into streams and made for super slippery testing conditions anywhere off the dirt roads.

Heat Guidelines

The weather forecast for the Cyclic Navigator tomorrow is cool, literally – 15 degrees Celcius and scattered showers.  Nice!
