Definitely was a bittersweet weekend, packing up the Village Bike Cafe at Falls Creek before it headed down to the mountain on the back of a semi trailer. It’ll be spending the Winter in the valley, before returning to Falls bigger and better next Summer. (more…)
On my last visit to Buxton I didn’t get to check out the new flow trail built by Trailscapes earlier in 2015 so I’ve been pretty keen to get back to the park before it closes for Winter. (more…)
After working up at Falls Creek together over Summer it was pretty cool to catch up with Sam and have our own end of season Barista Blowout. We hit the Lake Mountain Super G descent, Granton DH trail and finished up on Buxton’s jump track. (more…)
Last weekend Falls Creek, this weekend it was Mt Buller’s turn to farewell the Summer MTB season.
Blue Dirt’s Buller Blowout went off on Saturday: awesome weather and trail conditions, non-stop shuttles loaded with riders, free BBQ and craft beer to end the day. Thanks to some awesome rostering, I spent the morning doing shuttle runs down Copperhead, Abom, Outlaw and International. Fun stuff.
What better way to spend the last day at Falls Creek than riding the Fainters Track down to Mt Beauty with the World Trail crew. (more…)
