What better way to spend the last day at Falls Creek than riding the Fainters Track down to Mt Beauty with the World Trail crew.

The Fainters Track is definitely right up there when it comes to kick ass Australian back country MTB rides. It’s massively scenic, rough, technical at times, fast, with some hurt box climbs thrown in for good measure. Check that ride profile – 40km of MTB goodness.

I hadn’t ridden the Fainters Track since living in Falls Creek over 20 years ago. Tell ya what, it’s a different experience on a modern dual suspension MTB vs a 1990’s hard tail that’s for sure!

We headed up to the Anzac Memorial Dawn service at Eagle Rock before heading off on the ride at sunrise. It was definitely chilly, with the trails white with frost.

Super super ride, and the Mojo 3 ran like a dream 🙂
