Last weekend Falls Creek, this weekend it was Mt Buller’s turn to farewell the Summer MTB season.

Blue Dirt’s Buller Blowout went off on Saturday: awesome weather and trail conditions, non-stop shuttles loaded with riders, free BBQ and craft beer to end the day. Thanks to some awesome rostering, I spent the morning doing shuttle runs down Copperhead, Abom, Outlaw and International. Fun stuff.

Sunday delivered wild Winter weather – strong winds, rain, hail and even snow.

Riders were stoked on the challenging conditions but the mountains had spoken. Time to head for the lowlands.
