Mt Buller has been on my MTB bucket list for a few years now. Summers have come and gone yet for whatever reason I’ve never got around to checking out what has become Victoria’s premiere riding destination. Maybe I’ve been waiting for this!
Following on from working with World Trail on the World Cup XC and DH trails in Smithfield I’m stoked to be part of the crew working on Australia’s first IMBA EPIC trail, a ~40km XC flavoured descent from Mt Buller to Mirimbah via Mt Stirling.
Arriving at Buller the first job on the crew’s To Do list was to get out and ride. A late afternoon spin down Gang Gangs and out to Corn Hill was followed the next day by Stonefly and shuttles down the Delatite River trail. Awesome stuff that left my face aching from prolonged yahoo’ing!
Here’s a few phone pics. Now to get to work on the trail 🙂
Ha!! Thought you must be up to something, you’ve been offline for a while. You lucky bugger!! Look forward to hearing all about it on Sat. Cheers, Andy
thanks Andy, yeah it’s a blast!
