I had a great Easter in Melbourne, hanging out with my two kids and exploring Port Phillip Bay with Von. Even though I’d live in Victoria for over 10 year and visited the city many times I’d never heard of the little village of Black Rock, along with the nearby Red Bluff cliffs.

Now I get what Melbournians mean when they talk about bay side living. The hustle of the city is non existent in Black Rock. The locals are all about walking their dogs on the beach, followed by breakfast at one of the many cafes, or fish and chips by the bay at sunset.

Though the idea of the living in a city as large and busy as Melbourne may not be for me, I have to admit I forgot all about that while clambering around exploring the eroded cliffs at Red Bluff. It’s pretty cool really.
