Buxton MTB Park

With only a couple of weekend’s work left at Falls Creek I figured it was time to take in a few nearby MTB parks along the way. Doing so also provides a fun way to break the long drive to North East Victoria.

Flame Trees MTB Trail

Made a quick sidetrip on the way back to Central Victoria to check out the Flame Trees MTB Trail at Beechworth. It’s a 10km loop that runs either side of the Murray-to-Mountains rail trail. Good fun, including a stormwater pipe option that connects that up and down trail 🙂

F-Easter Sunday

Chocolate and chairlift runs. Not a bad way to spend Easter Sunday morning I’ve gotta say!

Big Hill MTB Park Mt Beauty

Hard to believe it’s been ~20 years since I last rode the trails on Big Hill at Mt Beauty. Last time I was riding a chromoly Stumpjumper hardtail, a long way from my carbon fiber dual suspension Mojo 3. Yeah MTB has changed over the years!
