2013 marked 25 years of mountain biking for me. Not that numbers mean anything when it comes down to it, but I remember thinking at the start of the year it would be cool to celebrate the occasion somehow. 2013 turned out to be a genuinely epic year of MTB!
Hippie highlights include:
- Being part of the launch of the Ibis Mojo HDR
- Returning to Melrose for the annual Fat Tyre Festival
- East Coast MTB Road Trip taking in trails at Newcastle, Nambucca Heads, Mt Joyce, Daisy Hill, Gap Creek, Bunyaville, Townsville, Atherton and Cairns
- Working for World Trail on the World Cup XC and DH courses in Cairns, along with the Epic trail at Mt Buller
Yeah 2013 was a blast. Thanks to everyone along the way. I figured the way to see the year out was on two wheels 🙂
