So today was the last day of the Summer MTB season at Falls Creek. Perfect weather, a bunch of folk riding the Blue Dirt shuttles, fire pits, craft beer and even a DJ doofing out the tunes. (more…)

I’d been promising myself a night ride in the mountains all Summer, and finally got around to it! Had an awesomely creepy ride on the Mojo 3 out along Frying Pan Spur and down High Voltage at Falls Creek. Night shuttles would be so cool 🙂 (more…)

Flame Trees MTB Trail

Made a quick sidetrip on the way back to Central Victoria to check out the Flame Trees MTB Trail at Beechworth. It’s a 10km loop that runs either side of the Murray-to-Mountains rail trail. Good fun, including a stormwater pipe option that connects that up and down trail 🙂 (more…)
