During the latter part of yesterday’s ride the rear wheel on the Mojo started to feel funky all of a sudden, sort of like it was deflating but not quite. Looking down at it spinning around it had a fair size buckle, wobbling side to side. Hmmph… turned around and cruised home. It turns out another spoke had failed at the nipple. That’s two spokes that have failed plus a couple of bent ones, time to get the wheel rebuilt.
Thanks to The Bike Vault I got to sit in the workshop with Michael, one of the store’s qualified mechanics, and see the wheel come together. Thanks Mike!
