Had a short but exciting ride today looping between Twin Bridges and Tipperary Springs. Lots of great single track, ultra narrow in places, sometimes with sheer rock wall on the hillside, sometimes with a big drop on the other, sometimes both! The single track also drops in and out of an old water race from the gold mining days.

Riding the 24 GUni on unfamiliar trails that include significant UPD consequences is a buzz – how long can you hold the high gear before chickening out! A great trail to return to and include in an all day MUni tour of the mineral springs, maybe in early Autumn.

Thought for the day: Time to get back into the practice of wearing a helmet… DOH!
