OK so let’s talk about first impressions of the Ibis Ripmo AKA Big bird!Coming from a couple of years on the Mojo 3 the first impression is… Dang the Ripmo is one BURLY MOFO of a bike! It feels like a Don’t f*ck with me steamroller kinda bike, blasting through chunderous trails that put smaller bikes on edge. You know, kinda like Clint Eastwood’s character in Gran Torino. That’s what the Ripmo is like 🙂

Out on the trail I’m happy so far with the custom build. The Ripmo feels super tight… and damn quiet too.

All up, kinda what you’d expect I guess given the Ripmo is the weapon of choice for the Enduro World Series Ibis Race Team. I’m really looking forward to getting out to Maydena once the park dries out a little. For now I’ll have to make do with skooching around the local trails around Hobart.
