Banking Miles

With all the wet, wintry weather the legs haven’t been getting much MTB action lately. It felt great to get out on a sunny Sunday afternoon and bank some miles on the Mojo HD3.

Winter Solstice

June 22nd has gotta be one of my favorite days of the year. It might be as cold and grey as any other Winter’s day in Central Victoria but from here on it means there’ll more sunlight hours each day until mid Summer. NICE!
Tarrengower

Always fun to head out to Mt Tarrengower and play around on the granite slabs and boulders. The level of grip is insane. It’s a pretty nice way to see out the day as well!
Winter Schminter

So it turns out Winter is right on the job, delivering a string of cold, grey days to Central Victoria from June 1st onwards. Great for the snowfields, a little fresh for the rest of us. It’s kinda what you’d expect yeah, being Winter and all, but riding in 0-5°C still take some getting used to.
Saturday Arvo

There’s been some fun stuff going on lately…
Rain finally!

So great to finally see some rain falling in Central Victoria!
Chuck rides North-South

The fourth and final stop in the Chuck Ibis Down Under road trip was Tasmania’s North-South Track an 11km descent (500m vert) running from The Springs on Mt Wellington down to the Glenorchy Mountain Bike Park.
