I moved the home trials area down to near a fallen gum tree, nice spot though the ground is soft and uneven, and not much shade in summer.
Solution: Night Trials!
No fireworks to officially open the trials area for pain and injury, so instead used a funky light that attaches to the wheel spokes and changes color as the wheel rotates. Add in a camera, flash. torch and tripod and the rest is well… see for yourself 😀
Amazingly enough the little light that attaches to the spokes provides a soft even light around the base of the tire, making trials at night not as uber deadly as I had expected.
By day…
The pallet collection has grown too, mainly thanks to my father-in-law who saw what I was up to and mentioned he had a stack of pallets that he once used as a floor in a caravan annex ‘down the back’. Thanks Matty!
Still a bunch of things to add and do but already it’s a lot of fun – can easily spend an hour or more messing around on it.
