Putting a dog with sharp claws into an inflatable packraft could be considered risky I guess! But Didj the Kelpie actually seemed to enjoy the experience, sitting peacefully up front of Vonnie’s raft as we paddled around Swan River and Moulting Lagoon.

It was such a calm and mild Autumn afternoon, and the lagoon was teeming with wildlife – swans, pelicans, all kinds of water birds. Stunning stuff, topped off by an incredible sunset to end the day.
