After the relatively cruisey day at Skyline Rotorua I wasn’t sure what to expect at Skyline Queenstown. One thing is for sure… lucky I hired a DH bike!

Man what a park. Respect Queenstown! Where Rotorua is like Derby, Queenstown is like Maydena with no shortage of steep, rocky, rooty, natural tech trail. I definitely found my limit many times and then some. The light rain mid morning added even more flavor to already greasy rock slabs, roots and trails.

What a spectacular setting for a bike park, and what a luxury to have a gondola right from the center of town to the stop of the park.
