Another spec’y cool, clear morning. Fired up the Mojo and headed out Baco way including a full reverse lap of Ken’s. It’s the first time I’d ridden Ken’s in the reverse direction and really enjoyed it, definitely a few sections that have a better flow in reverse. A few sections though were clearly made to run the other way. In terms of overall joy factor both directions probably balance out I reckon.

Riding in the reverse direction is a great way to get to know the trail better and you get to see everything along the way from a different point of view. I guess it’s a bit like life really, a change of direction can make the impossible seem possible, the difficult easy. Anyways, look forward to going backwards again soon.

Checked out the Gully on the way home, and cleared a good size tree with the little camping hand saw I carry around in the Camelbak. It took a while but worth doing. I’ll be able to rip down there next time.
