With all the rain and cool weather over the last couple of months you’d reckon Summer had taken an end of 2010 sickie. Well up until today anyway. New Years eve and  a wild and windy ~40 degree celcius summer day. Phew!

I got out on the MTB early in the morning before the day heated up and rode the Baco and Eggs loop, grabbing some test footage with the GoPro along the way. Even then it was close to 30 degrees when I got back mid morning. The trails are already super dry and starting to dust up, adding to the fun.

I thought of cleaning/servicing the bike or doing the tubeless conversion, but in the end just slothed around waiting for the cool change to arrive.
