Take a bunch of friends, add a bunch of ebikes, throw in some wild Winter weather and what have you got? An awesome Saturday Tassiestyle!
We had a bunch of fun exploring Lime Bay State Reserve on the Tasman Peninsula on our Cranke eMTB’s. Our 30km loop took in a mix of singletrack, undulating sandy four wheel drive tracks, beaches and dirt road.
The forecast was for extremely wild weather, so much so we almost cancelled the day. I’m glad we didn’t as we were greeted by a relatively mild, blue bird morning. The weather did deteriorate somewhat during the day, but hey it is mid Winter in Tasmania. Provided you’re dressed appropriately it’s always fun to be out in the mix!
Everyone in the group had a great day, and the Cranke electric mountain bikes were a perfect way to get around the reserve.
There isn’t a lot of information available online regarding Lime Bay, so special thanks to Tassie Trail for the Lime Bay GPS file and notes!
