A cold and windy weekend in Tassie, perfect conditions for going underground!

Hastings Caves AKA Newdegate Cave is the largest dolomite cave in Australia open to the public. There is plenty to see including flowstone, stalactites, shawls, straws, stalagmites and helictites. TBH the 45 minute tour feels way too short!

Hastings Caves is about 100km south of Hobart. A thermal springs pool is also located nearby.
