As opportunity allows I’ve been slowly exploring the Fryers Ridge State Forest, home to the Hippie Track and other goodies. I figured a ride to the fire lookout tower was a good place to start as it’s key landmark perched on the ridge looking over the forest and in theory it’s all downhill from here (yeah right!).

The structure itself isn’t remarkable but it’s powered by a huge array of solar panel, which look pretty cool.
