Headed out to Elphinstone this morning with Michael for a quick blat down to Chewton and back. It’s a fun rollercoaster of a ride — you’re either gunning downhill at up to 55km/h or grinding up the other side being mindful of not puking your breakfast, and not much else in between. Add in a bunch of rocks and a clean line here and there thanks to the moto’s, it’s a hoot.

I reckon short sharp cycles of thrill and pain like that makes for classic MTB terrain, and it’s the kind of stuff the Mojo HD comes to life in. Its stability and ride at speed really encourages you to relax and get stuck into the descents and come each climb out the other side it somehow transforms into a mountain goat.

Have ridden over 100km now on the new Spesh Purgatory/Captain tire combo, gotta say I’m loving em! Will post a full 100km write up sometime in the next few days hopefully.
