Summer Solstice

The trails might be dry and dusty but at least there’s no shortage of daylight during Summer, making evening rides a thing to be savored. I like to mark each solstice with a ride so headed out on my Mojo HDR to enjoy the most daylight hours in 2014.

Early Summer

It’s shaping up to be another dry and hot Summer, which is pretty much all it can be in Central Victoria! Here’s a few GoPro pics from recent rides.

Scratch & Shape

It feels great to be back on the hand tools after  few months off, even if it’s just a few hours here and there making minor changes to trails. One thing is for sure though – riding fresh trails for the first time after a building session is always good fun!

Fat Tire Fun

Take one MTB fat bike, cut it in half and what have you got? The awesome Nimbus Oregon!

Back On Ya Horse

After a couple of months of downtime I’m stoked to feel well enough to get back out on my Mojo HDR – on Fathers Day nonetheless!

Farewell Stumpy

Just like they say in The Matrix, everything that has a beginning has an end. I didn’t want to let go of my old 1991 Stumpy but seeing it sit in the shed and gather dust wasn’t much fun either. It needed a better home.

Nudda Mudder

The cold and wet Winter weather across Victoria continues! Fortunately the local trails handle the rain well. You can get out for a ride pretty much as soon as the rain stops and arrive back home with a clean bike.

Left Handers Day

Another August 13, another birthday! Far more exciting than turning 46 was discovering that August 13 also happens to be ‘Left Handers Day‘. Pretty cool since I’m left handed 🙂
