With the sun shining and the local trails almost back to being dry, but rain forecast for the next couple of days there was an opportunity to good to miss today to check out the new ‘Woodbrook’ MTB trail made up of a mix of old, new and brand spanking new trails. I’ve had a touch of the flu but figured if it got worse, well with the rain I probably wouldn’t be riding much in the next couple of days anyway!
As it currently stands Woodbrook is an 18.10km loop, made up ~8.4km climbing, 6.6km descent and 3.1km flat. Forget all the numbers though, main thing is that it’s good fun and connects up all the best bits of trail in that section of bush… like the Gully Run for example, just off Woodbrook Road 🙂
