Fun ride on the 36’er today, though my legs felt a little on the empty side. The drilled Nimbus rim rolled along the fire trails and single track with no problems though there weren’t any significant drops.

You come across wacky things in the middle of the forest — humongous puddles across the track, weirdos on unicycles and bizarre signs nailed to trees.

  1. so did u attempt the puddle?? And do you think the water and mud that would accumulate in the drilled out rim would actually defeat the purpose of drilling out the rim??? Haha.

  2. Haha no mate, didn’t cross that lake, just got over cleaning the 29’er from our ride 🙂

Have to admit I’ve tried to avoid riding through too much mud with the drilled out rims, tho it seems as long as it’s watery enough just about all of it runs out, luckily!
